Les married Wilhelmina Mary Schreck 21 Jan, 1931 at Moree. Wilhelmina died 5 Sep, 1969 at Moree as a result of a car accident. They had five children;

Cecil: born 19 Aug, 1931;
Noel Allen: born 5 Jun, 1936;
Judith: born 19 Dec, 1938;
John William: born 16 Jun, 1941;
Helen: born 14 Apr, 1943, all at Moree.

Les remarried Dorothy 14 Apr, 1973 and there was no family.
