Fourth child of Wilfred.

Anne Margaret married Neil Desmond, second son of Bazil Clifton and Joyce Zena Baillie on 18 Dec, 1976 at Armidale.

Neil was born at Tumby Bay in South Australia 7 May, 1954. Anne did her schooling at Boomi, Bingara and Inverell High and went to Armidale Teacher's College where she trained as a primary teacher. She has taught at Coonabarabran, Uralla, Armidale and Walcha. Neil is an Animal Science Technical Officer working with the University at Armidale and they are currently living Just out of Armidale. In 1986 Neil was sent to Bogor, Indonesia for 2 years to work on a combined Universities project to improve stock breeding in that country. His family went with him and Anne had the experience of doing some teaching whilst there at an Expat School. It also proved a wonderful opportunity for their two girls, both of whom learned the language and can speak it well. The daughters are:

both at Armidale.

While in Bogor, Lisa attended the Jakarta International School, with a student population of 2,500 based on the American school system and Peta went to the primary Expat school in Bogor, a place where children from all parts of the world attended. Their experience has helped them greatly in the schooling since coming home.
