SECOND CHILD OF JAMES.

Gwen married Patrick Bowe, third son of Alfred and Dorothy Carrigan on 9 Mar, 1954 at Moree. Patrick was a grazier and they resided at "Berrica", Boomi until Pat became to ill to work the property. They sold Berrica and moved to Goondiwindi where Pat died 17 Mar, 1968. Gwen still lives there. Pat was born at Goondiwindi on 19 Nov, 1925 and they had six children, the second one, a daughter, died at birth in Goondiwindi, the other family members being:

• Norman Patrick: born 9 Sep, 1954, married Miriam Anne Rutherford;

• Carolyn Mary: 28 Feb, 1957, married Richard James Fleeting;

• Dorothy Elsa: 24 Oct, 1959, married Phillip Lomax;

• Ross Francis: 8 Jun, 1962, married Carmel Billing;

• Annette Maree: 24 Feb, 1966, married James Cruickshank.

Pat was a lover of horses and a great horseman and a dedicated worker for show and horse sports in the area.
